I hadn't planned on taking a coupla months away from the 'net but with everything going on with work, the missus and my son it just sorta happened. That being said it's good to be back. :)
The missus is finally home. She's on probation for two years and so far is doing all she's suppose dto be doing. She had lost her driver's license during all this so she's working on getting that back. Once that's done I'm hoping either one of her job apps will pan out or one of these work programs will find her a job. We are so far behind on everything the jokes stopped being funny last season.
Work is finally doing some store consolidation. At the end of this month they'll be closing the branch I had worked at for nine years and rolling everying over to the store I transferred to back in February. They already did a similar consolidation with two other branches last month. We're hoping this will actually make the day-to-day easier one everyone involved.
My son's doing a lot better this year in 2nd grade. I know part of it is because his mom's home. The 2nd grade classes in his school are taking a far more modern tack with teaching - no homework, kids working at their own pace etc.
Other then being there for our son having the missus home really hasn't changed from when she was here before here ten-month incarceration. Shortly before her release my mother-in-law had texted me, part of which stated "well only ten more years". As in just tuff out the marriage til my son's done with high school.....pffft, I do not see that shit happening. As it is we're two roommates who barely interact with each other. Actually it's worse then that since she doesn't have a job to contribute her 'half' of the bills! We'll see how the rest of this year pans out....
And as usual I can't sleep yet am tired as all hell lol. Think I'll try shuffling off to dreamland. Hope everyons' doing well and its' great to be back! :)
