Well not that I'm auditioning to be an SG or anything lol but I not only have enjoyed seeing the answers to this question but being able to draw well has always been a skill I wish I had cultivated. I'll admit for me it's a tie on my fav artist(s):
I first fell in love with Larry Elmore's work back when I read the Dragonlance Trilogy. The above piece is from the novel 'The Cage' by S. M. Sterling.
I first fell in love with Alex Ross' work when I read 'Kingdom Come', which is what the above pic is from.
