Took the day off work today to go to my middle niece's wedding. Her fiance (well now husband) is a Navy Seabee and is being deployed to the Pacific Islands for 6 months before being assigned to California. She's going to stay here in MI until he ends up in CA, then move on base with him.
I wish her all the love and best of luck. She's a gorgeous gal but very naive, probably not the best combo to be. Last I heard she was talking about how she'll go to CA and just 'become a star'....a dream many have but few attain. This was before she announced the wedding two weeks ago so maybe that's changed.

Specifics. I'm a smart girl. I know how to use Google and to pack for a train trip, but not necessarily an extended hospital stay. Each hospital is different. I'm just crowdsourcing in case there are ideas I haven't thought of or read of yet.
