Rant of the day: As follows
The other day I am working my "people-job" at a Quiznos sub shop. A blatantly backwoods man came up to the counter to order. He began asking "what's good here?" One of my coworkers responds with "well i wouldnt know much because I dont eat meat sir". She said this hoping to be able to pass him off to someone who could better help him make his decision. He then looks at her completely puzzled and in all seriousness asks "are you an American, I dont know any American that doesnt eat meat". Biting our own mutual lips we turn away to snicker quietly, and contemplate turning back around saying "no sir, just off the boat and we worship cows in our country". Sometimes people just leave me lost, confused and well to say the least FUCKING SPEECHLESS!! Please if ever confronted with such a situation, come up with a witty comeback i regret not doing so!!
