Warped Tour was a fucking trip. I had so much fun. Getting to see so many great bands in one afternoon is awesome. Billy fucking Idol was there! I didn't think he was going to be at the Minneapolis one. But yeah, Billy Idol, Dropkick Murphys, Offspring, Mest, Fall Out Boy, etc, etc. Just a blast.
I dyed my hair bright red for the event (hey, I've never dyed my hair before, and it was a handy excuse), and it got really orange-ish pink from all the sun. And as luck would have it, my face got nicely sunburnt and matched my hair.
I spent $71 on merch and $10 on beverages, none on food. I also didn't ever sit down or hit a bathroom. I'm so hardcore. And dumb.
One of the bands that caught my ear walking around was a little band called Paramore. They had this tiny little 16-year-old girl for a lead singer, but she had some pipes. Their album's gonna hit stores tomorrow, I think. They're still a young band, and it shows, but I was impressed. They're on Fueled By Ramen, and hopefully they go somewhere.
Okay, I have to go re-dye my hair so I don't look like Carrot Top anymore. I'd take a picture, but I don't have a digital camera. Soon, though. Soon.

sounds like you had a blast. i went about four years ago and got to see AFI and the Misfits (though not really the misfits, more like Jerrry Only and then Robo from Black Flag and one of the Ramones....Marky?). it was a good time. started out really hot and then just poured rain. NOFX and Bad Religion didn't even play, which sucked a lot. anyway, glad to hear you had a good time. take it easy.
