Alkaline Trio was an amazing show. Their new album's great stuff, and they played a lot of stuff off of it. They really don't play the songs I expect them to at shows, though. They did play quite a few older songs, but not the ones I like better or would say are their best. Not that the songs they played were bad or anything. Still, it was great to see them, since the last time I saw them was 3 years ago and I barely knew their music then. Only this time I'd been bludgeoned by the crowd until I didn't remember their songs. So, same net effect, actually.
Anyway, I got back in town at 3:30 AM, and worked a full 8-hour day today, so I might just take a nap before I pass out sitting here.

awesome. where did you go see them? i need to pick up the new album. also, as a State fan, have you checked out Reno 911 or the show Stella? Stella will soon be on comeday central and it seems to have the rest of the state cast....reno having the other folks. pretty funny stuff.

I saw it in a record store in Chicago, I can't remember the name of it. Maybe there's a website that sells them? They were pretty awesome. Good luck finding one if you choose to do so.
