Just when you start getting a little lax about it, life presents you with something to snap you out of that mind-set. Flashmo and I had someone try to break into our house over the weekend while we were out of town...fortunately our two 70 and 80 pound boxers were home to greet our new guest as he tried to get through the doggie door. Since we've been in Pocatello, we've kinda gotten lulled into a false sense of security because there's so much less crime than where we came from but this incident has got me dusting off the Sig Sauer

and yeah. been doing better. its just been awkward without my cats. i love my one a few months ago and when scooby died it just hit me that they were gone. ive had them since like 4th/5th grade. and when id have bad days theyd be there. now its just coping without them. ill probably adopt more kitties down the road but im goingto wait a bit i think.
