Each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord what you're doing to me

I felt that my old pictures were pressing on, what the kids in the business world, call "false advertising" and maybe I should come clean about the the weathering of the body as time passes. Plus, I thought proof of the hair cutting skills was in order...if it gets around to enough folks maybe I can quite my boring-ass job, drop out of school and make my own hours cutting hair. I only know one haircut though so that might be a problem confused Anyway, I put a new folder in there that have few self absorbed pictures of me
over the last week.

So I'm still not too sure what I'm gonna be doing about the living/moving situation. I have completely overthought this one and now I don't know what I want to do, what part of me is just trying to run away and what part of me just wants to stay so I can live out some idealistic dream. I really just want to live inside of one of those sensory deprivation chambers with music piped into it for 10 hours a day and the rest of the time set aside for eating, human interaction and physical contact. I wonder if I can get a degree in that!?!? hmmm whatever

Other than that I have been totally neglecting my studie and trying to make music.

Oh! After a trip to Ameoba - in which I picked up some Simon Joyner, My Bloody Valentine records and an Elliott Smith 7-inch - I was walking back up to my car and came across a "free pile" that was out in front of someones house. And buried under a few pair of pants I found a pair of rollerskate that are at least a year or so older than me. They look like a pair of Asics shoes that someone screwed some skateboard trucks to. I tried riding down the hill in front of my house, couldn't turn and ended up eating shit. They are good stuff!

So that is all for now I guess. Gonna see Mirah tommorow which should be great. To see the voice live that has sung me to sleep on a number of occasions should be nice...

It's funny because I pretty much hate it when such things are said to me, but it depends on what you're into.

I'm very all over the place. I discovered in the past year or so that I really love memoirs-but lately I've been back on the fiction. I've been reading bits of sci-fi, very weird-almost poetic love stories that aren't lame, some old horror, and then just very funny stuff.

You should check out Shopgirl, by Steve Martin. The Steve Martin. It's a great book. He also wrote The Pleasure of My Company and I recommend that as well.

This is my obvious section-things that you've probably read or at least heard about from everyone. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is very necessary if you've never read that. Also, any Chuck Palahniuk-unless you've read something of his and hated it. House of Leaves is awesome beyond belief. I might go back and reread that soon.

I'm sure I could come up with more classic type stuff-but I guess I'll stop now. Just let me know what you're into and I can come up with a better list.
