So I had this really smashing entry going last night until my roommate came home and told me that Her Space Holiday was playing in Oakland and to get off my ass. The thought of seeing such a great artist and, most importantly, not going to another show all alone made me have to forsake the entry. I'm sorry...truely, and it will never happen again baby. 
Anyway, I'll try to salvage some of that journal here.
There is this class at school on Mondays that I have sort of been poaching during my huge afternoon gap between classes. The title of the course is "Horror Film Studies" and...well, the title sort of speaks for itself. Watch a bunch of horror movies at the school theatre and then describe what they say about culture. Yesterday they watched "the Hunger". Opening scene with Bauhaus and the rest of the movie was about lesbian vampires. The only non-female vampire was David Bowie. Instant classic!
Saw the Blood Brothers on Sunday and that was all well and good but I am getting a little weary of the fact that I every time I go out it is like some cheesy music video for the Smiths How Soon Is Now
To try to remedy that I got really drunk throughout the course of the evening. Obviously, I only felt worse. Plus I was still drunk when I got to class the next morning. 
Anyway, I don't know. The Bright Eyes show should be fucking awesome. Going with two carloads of friends and gawd damnit...it's fucking Conor Oberst! Plus the next day I can just sleep in. I had something more going in the last entry but in the attempt to find what it was I find that I am just rambling.
