my room is now spotless, dustfree, and carpet is now visible. I'm on my way to making it a shrine of nothing but music, art, and photography (and perhaps some articles of clothing and a bed)

but good gawd I have a lot of socks after the holiday season...not that that should be taken as a complaint.

I'm actually having a new years soiree/shin-dig/boxsocial/hootenanny/jig/kegger/brannigan/celebration/party at my place of residence this year...excited about that. I figured if ze oily german, aka my volkswagon diesal powered automobile, isn't going to be taking me to see my friends I can command them to come to me. Since I am in my own home I wont have any "i wish i was home in my own bed" post-weekendish stories. no feeling sorry for myself this time around.

Simpsons Season 3 should be in the mail any day now so I can waste yet another day away inside my house. Thus far that is all I have been doing over this break. School will start again before I know it and I will be whining that I don't have time to get the things I want to get done done. At least I have been reading though.

wow i can't wait for my friends to be in town for a few days. I think pretty soon I will physically be able to see my social skills leave my body. there were not many there to start with so I think I should be more conservative with this precious resource.

my posts get longer and longer and say less and less. go figure...
