HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE FOR YOU:
$330mil-ish will be spent on pet costumes... and only 5 or 6 of those dogs/cats actually give a shit. Actually, one might shit on said costume. The pets don't care...they're already adorable and awesome without the $80 outfit for the 1 minute pose for IG/FB/Twitter...
Meanwhile...shelters and vets are overwhelmed with so many amazing animals who are looking for homes and who need care and these animals REALLY don't give a shit about being Yoda in a FB photo.
So...my challenge to YOU is to take the money you might spend on a costume for your pet and instead donate that money to a shelter or vet clinic to really make a difference.
Now if you've already bought a costume(s) for your fur ball, I will not scold you but ask that you match or double the cost of the costume in your donation to a shelter or vet clinic.
That is my challenge!! May you and your pets have a fun and safe Halloween and keep your black cats/dogs inside!!!
