The way I see life today is that I have lived half of mine. I fully intend to live to be 100, so today being my 50th birthday I have lived half of my expected life.
The second half of my life will be much different from the first half. I will have many more aches and pains than I had before, my back gets worse every week. My vision and hearing will continue to deteriate, hopefully some of each will remain.
I will be much smarter during the second half because I learn something new everyday. I will make fewer mistakes than I did in the first half, I now know the price you have to pay for stupid mistakes. I will continue to learn and attempt to improve my abilities to communicate. If I am lucky I may oneday actually get to communicate with a lovely SG Girl in person.
There is much more I could say on this subject but it is now time to pack a bowl and drink a couple cool ones.
