What does it take to be happy or just satisfied with the life you have. Does it have anything to do with what you expect or is it just the circumstances that you have been dealt?
If all you expect is for the chickens to lay a dozen eggs a day then it is fairly simple to lead a happy life. If you expect to buy a car at the Barrett-Jackson custom car auction then your life will probably be more complicated.
There are times I wish my life was more complicated and I had greater material wealth, but more often when the day ends I am thankful for the simple things that life has dealt me.
If I could find a lovely companion that enjoyed the simply things in life as much as I do than I think I could truly be happy.
