This week has not been good.
Sorry about not going to the movies: had to work (I work 3rd shift)
Got home from work on Wed morning to my phone showing that my little brother had tried to contact me. I thought it was nothing major, then I got online and noticed an e-mail to call as soon as I could. While I was going to, I opted against it, since it was only 630 am: I didnt want to wake everyone - especially if it was not a major situation.
Come to find out around 11 am that my stepfather died of kidney failure Wed. He lived in the same nursing home that my mom does in PA.
Cannot go to PA for memorial service (he is being cremated since he had no life ins policy: his sister it taking care of it): funds are not there for it. And there really isnt anything I can do (already have been told that)
I am still not 100%, but I will still be doing my best to be out for Punk night. I know someone that will need a DD, and come heck or high water, I'll do my darndest to make sure he has one hell of a good time.
Before my stepfather passed away, I had already made plans to go to Punk night, as well as the Piqua Heritage Festival. http://www.piquaheritagefestival.com/
Assuming that I have no problems there (all depends on how detail obsessed they are - and how the tattoos and piercings fare out) - there is a good chance I will be wearing the leggings I made along with the breechclout. Who knows though: like I said, it all depends on how strickt they are.
Well, I gotta go now: there are only soo many hours in a day, and I have got MANY things to get done, and very little tiem to get them done with.
