Wednesday.
Between work and school I wonder if I have any brains left.
Work:
1) machine down from 11:10 to 5:10 on Sunday night: relay switch supposedly ordered (but later found out that they are still trying to find someone that even HAS a relay switch) - machine has safety mat bypassed until relay switch is in.
2) Last wed, a woman came back to my area to be trained. She was told by my boss that this week she'd be on her own, except for the occasional help from another person.
EVEN after me telling her that it is OK, and that everyone that gets trained back here will take a while to get faster at the postion. EVEN after I told her yesterday that we were doing OK. Tonight she starts crying because she feels she cannot keep up- and wont be able to. (a coworker back there asked me to call the supervisor, but I asked the cowerker instead to just go get the supervisor- since that way the coworker could explain the situation without having to page the supervisor (which might have stressed the woman out further) )
3) I took this course (inro to computers) in the hopes it would be good for me (I figured it would be up to date and a reasonable speed). Turns out:
a) cannot have any drinks in the room (ie: no caffinated pop) -- so getting out of work at 6 am and having this class at 830 am makes me a zombie and nearly falling out of my chair(teacher talks like that guy doing those dry eyes commercials)
b) teacher talks fast with no tone, and when using a presentation, has the slide up for less than 20 seconds while talking all the way through it and you try to copy screen as well aswrite notes
c) Tech writing is webflex, and there are only 7 students in class. with only 1 hour of class per week, I can see where I had better watch my procrastination
And, car is now fixed: Approx 300$ for he garage to install a water pump
Younger brother called (he lives in PA): asked if I was able to make it (like I try every year) labor day weekend to visit. I explained the situation with finances (as I had already told my mom over a month ago) that I will not be able to visit. He then asked if I will be around christmas, and I told him I have to see what goes on finanacially. Though- one thing that I did find out about him made me feel good: He told me he is going to go to the tech highschool for electrical. He opted to tell me this after I told him I am going to college.
(let me make a simple point: I do not care what he chooses to do - I am glad in whatever he chooses to do - and seeing that he feels very confident about working in the electrical field, I havea good feeling he will excell in it)
Oh shit: I cannot fall asleep now
