Happy Birthday PunkNiteMike! I hope your birthday was GREAT! ( I hope your birthday went a hell of a LOT better than mine did). Unfortunatly I wasn't able to go last night due to my math that I need to have done for class (and there is enough to be a problem). I hope everyone that went had LOTS of fun!
I will be VERY happy once the class is over -- however I still have to register for next semester.
The mother cat is now in a mood. Yesterday when coming back from doing laundry, she jumped right on the top of my hood of my car and shrieked at me. Today I opened up the door and found out that the mother cat is hanging out with another cat. I guess it was bound to happen when they trapped all her kittens and took them away.
I have heard a little bit about a movie called the golden compass. If I can, I'd like to see it.
I have to go to bed soon - got to go to work later tonight.
And, while today I dont have class -- work decided to f*** me over -- by having a mandatory meeting after work -- so the time I was planning on using on my math on monday - ends up being lost
Then, I have to go in early monday too-- becasue the temp service has a mandatory safety meeting. Sheesh!
It's like this: either you MUST live at work, or you MUST live at home to survive. Jobs nowadays expect you to LIVE for WORK -- and NOTHING ELSE (which they make ample certian that you have no time for anythign else). And as far as "adult education" --- that is bullshit! The only way a person can truly make it and get good grades -- is if they live at home and have no job - so they can focus on their class responsibilities.
IMHO -- "adult education" is watching a porn. For a school to claim adult education -- they are in need of mental drugs! They do not take into account that adults NEED to work, and have little time for guessing games or any type of stupidity from a classroom environment. If an instructor wants to pile on the assignemtns on the adults - be prepared that sometime in the near future there will be a clash between emoployment and education for adults.
