I have to do math tonight-- hopefully I will wake up later to be able to do it all.
2 days ago, I rec'd the cell phone cover I had ordered. The whole story is:
Ordered BLACK cellphone cover on Oct 7th. Waqs supposed to (at the latest - by my place by the 17th).
Got BLACK cover on the 17th -- however, it was for the wrong model cellphone. Contacted company and they told me that black was unavailable for my model. they suggested other colors -- and online the pic of the blue one looked ok - so I told them I guess I could settle for that one. I got the correct model cover in blue, however, when viewed in direct light (or bright light - and I think most lighting) - it shows up as blue puple.
I hate the color, but I really dont want to deal with any more b.s. (especially since I looked online for other cases, and they are all priced much higher)
So now I am trying to find stickers to cover up the cover so I can have one that looks manly and not like a reject from Barney. From what I understand there are skinz which a version of a sticker for the cover -- but it is not made my my model phone. Anyways, I still have to find some sort of stickers that will work on the cover. I have talked to others that used stickers on their covers and they have told me that you need to get THIN stickers for the cover- otherwise they start to come off the cover (which I can understand that -- the thicker the sticker, the more it wants to return to a flat state instead of keeping curved over the cover)
Last night the area got LOTS of rain and the kittens and their mom got SOAKED. There isnt much I can do because I cannot have them in my apartment -- I was worried they would get sick (and I fear they have -- one of the kittens started sneeezing)
I see those kittens and the mother cat and I feel bad for them: they tried to lay down on the neighbor's doormat and one of the kittens almost got stepped on (because that neighbor has LOTS of traffic). I bought a cheap mat -- however, because it is similar to astroturf, the kittens and the mother cat do NOT like stepping on it -- and avoid it with a passion. They look at me and the mother cat starts crying-- then the kittens (since they cannot meow yet) - they wimper at me over and over again.
Next monday I turn another year older. I also get the (dis)pleasure of having a test in algebra that day. I dread having the test on my b.d. - especially since it will ruin my b.d. becaue I will be worried about the grade of it. Depending on how much math work I have left to do over the weekend, I think I will buy a 6 pack and sit back. I really need to get a GREAT grade on this test so it balances out the other ones. Otherwise a dominoe effect happens - which is NOT a good thing.
Last year I had to work on an art project on my b.d. and the year before I had to work on a project for my technical writing class (I was in a group that was supposed to be working as a team- however the one who was supposed to be gathering information and giving suggestions for the GPS unit we were to suggest for a ficticious company -- vanished at that time and was not responding to ANy messages. -- so to save the grade I had to pick up the slack and take over the project. (the instructor apologized to me about that when I had completed the course - and he appreciated the fact I did pick up the slack even though it was on my birthday). Im getting the distinct impression that the fates have spoken - and have opted that my birthday is a day of work or stress or both. Anyone have a spare pie to through at the fates for that???
Well, I have been working on this entry for a while ... I dont know when I started it -- but its already 5:19 pm -- so I think its nearly an hour working on it.
