I feel like I am in the twilight zone: it seems that no one on me friend list has updated or visited fot a bit. Kind of strange when no one talks about the night before.

And today, 2 times cellphone rang - had an unknown nomber on it. Person even left message - ***the message was for a person that was supposed to be meeting others at a get together today (instert twilight music)

The third time phone rang, I answered it.
Person: "Is that you?"
Me: "who is this?"
Person: "Im mrs ____" who are you?"
Me: " Im the person that doesn't know mrs ____"
Person: "Is _____ there?"
Me "No, it is just me on the phone with you"
Person: "Oh, sorry: I was calling (insert my cell phone number)"
Me: "yes, that is the number you called, but I am not the person you are calling"
Person: "Oh, sorry."
Me: "It's ok"
Me: "bye"

That almost sounds like it could have been a comedy sketch -- ALMOST tongue

I still have not gotten all my math homework/notes/math problems done. BUT... I did get my laundry done - and while waiting in the laundrymat, I was doing my math homework- so that counts (doesn't it???)

The mother cat is still around: it seems that the more and more, the less she growls at me when I see her. She now comes close to my steps. I swear -- it looks like she has 4-5 kittens -- but I only get to see them through the fence--- there are black/ white/ and grey ones. It is difficult to get aw defintie count on the kittens-- the mother cat is UBER protective. They are quiet (unless my hearing is really bad) and they are somewhat playful while trying to investigate the ramp above their birthplace (which the mother cat makes sure those kittens are not out too long.) The mother cat still growls - but is is less ans lesser sounding -- Im guessing the lower the growl is, the less she feels threatened by me.

Im bad: I've been making sure the mother cat has something to eat. Yesterday I gave her (at differnt times) a can of tuna twice. And water too.
Today, I bought cheap cat food (9 lives brand- at least I know that kind is safe for cats - considering all that b.s. of bad pet food from the past months) and I fed her today. Yeah- Im a softie for cats - But dont let anyone know -- ESPECIALLY Moddy --- cuz' he'd make a bad joke out of it -- really! He would. (and he has done it other times when I have been greeted by cat(s) mad -grrrr)

I just took a look outside -- the mother cat is laying down by the ramp - having the kittens nurse from her. As soon as I opened my door, the cat looks right at me - Im guessing she is still very skittish of people yet.

Well, that is about it for now. I hope I start hearing from people today soon: I really hate hearing about things within an hour of going places: its like "hurry up and drop everything" - which really sux donkey nuts.

A MAJOR pet peeve of mine- is faulty notification. In my family, one of the older brothers, Len, would not tell me about an event (such as grandfather going for surgery/ grandfather's family wanting everyone at dinner/ people inviting me to things) - UNTIL THE DAY OF THE EVENT -- I WAS LUCKY TO GET an hour or more as notice.
The typical conversation would go like this:

Len knocking at my bedroom door.
I open bedroom door.
Len: "Aren't you ready?"
Me: "For what???"
Len: "Grandfather is having surgery today"
Me: "when did you know about this?"
Len: "two weeks ago"
Me:" And you decided to tell me about it right before he's having the surgery?"
Len: "So, are you going or not?"

That is typical of him -and it is something I really HATE!

Needless to say, people that put me in that type situation get under my skin- and when it happens (as I did with Len) - I opt not to go. I imagine that was what Len intended from the first place - which is what I think people plan on when they give me short notice.

I can understand the spur of the moment change of plans, but when a person knows about a thing for at least 2 weeks in advance - but does not tell you until the very last minute-that is deliberate.

There were many times Len did that to me. Needless to say, every time he did it, He made sure I'd never be able to go. He got his wish many times. And- there is a good chance that because of that, he made me out to be a nasty person to that side of the family. Well, my opinion -- they certianly didnt seem too concerned when I wasn't there.

Well, Gotta Go...
