Well, a while back I gave my notice and left my job: I had to in order to have time to sleep and do homework (the job i had ... within 2 days I only was able to have 5 hrs of sleep- not including homewoork).
Anyways, Thursday I had appt with temp service: they told me in no uncertain words that unless I am willing to work 10 hours a day there is a slim chance of me getting a job through them. They told me that I'd need to be able to work past 3rd shift (I told them I would be ableto work 10 - 630 - and they told me that jobs want people to can work beyond that time )
So... temp service told me that unless I am willing to work longer hours there is very slim chance they can help me get a job.
And on another note... found out that last night my former workplace layed off 40 people -- and within the next 8 weeks will be laying off more. (had I been there still, I would have been one of the first ppl to be layed off)
Oh well.... Anyways... still looking for something that will work 8 hours on 3rd shift (and IF ot- it would be on the weeknd) .... homefully something will come around soon.

I just sent this e-mail to A& W:
Hello There,
I tried to contact you through the A&W website, however, there is only a phone number to contact you- which is somewhat unusual considering that you'd think that a company that is willing to be online would have an e-mail address for those who utilize technology.
Anyways, I have a question for you: "What is with the name Curds?" There are many times I would like to try these things, however, because of their name and it rhyming with the word "Turds" I will most certainly not partake of such a option on your menu.
Please take this to heart when you name things on your menu; if an item rhymes with a waste product, it may not be taken well by customers.
Thank You,
Ed
