I had to cancel Thanksgiving: art teacher thinks people have nothing better to do than do an art project. And consideing that I have to go to a musuem on friday (need to get things for oral report for that class) -- and sat and sun to make the oral report ready (as well as other arts shit to do). I am totally unhappy/discouraged by all things art due to her class.


ANYWAYS,

I am still tryhing to connect the notebook and desktop so I can transfer files between both of them. I have a wireless lynksys router (as well as the cable net box) - and no matter what I do, I cannot get both units to realze there is another computer on the network. I have tried to go by the crappy instructions on the net- and from lynksys -- and none of them are written for the common person to be able to do it. I really think that the techies need to go back to technical writing class and remember the one major rule: MAKE IT SIMPLE AND EASY TO READ!

Anyways, it sucks I cannot get them connected because the notebook has things (burner) that I need to use but cannot get files transferred from the desktop to the network or vice versa.
