This weekend will most likely be uneventful for the most part. I have to try and locate another job- as well as try and locate safety frames for glasses (I need round ones to handle the thickness of my lenses (hence the reason I normally wear contact lenses -- but current job requires no contact lenses)
If anyone has ever wanted to gague the performance of a temp service, here is a story you will love (yeah- right). At the end of Feb '06, Edison Comm College had a job fair in which Manpower, a temp service attended. They seemed like a very good company (and at teh time I was unemployed and looking for a job) I told manpower that and they told me to type up a resume and drop it off to them and they would get me a job. I did that and waited.... waited..... waited...
Last night I got a voicemail message from Manpower: they found me a job that pays signifigantly less than I had asked (9 $ is a very reasonable amount - especially on the low side) --- and that I need to call them back.
I did not call them back because I was ready to scream at whomever answered the phone. Had I not gotten a job through another temp service, I would have ended up penniles and homeless. I hope no one ever is put in that position -- so be very careful if you opt to go to a temp service (especially the one I went to, Manpower)
Spencer's store in Piqua is having 90% off today-- as it is their last day of being open. I stopped by and picked up some "bad Ass Bandaids" -- Needless to say I have a Bad Ass, and it needed a bandaid
Well, gotta go now: got done with work at 630 am, and have not slept since.

its weird you talk about temp services cause all the jobs ive been hired on from i've got thru temp services. i guess i've been lucky!
and no worries, i'll feel better next time we hang out! we should all do something next weekend, just chill or hang out somewhere! and ya know what, i love me some milk!
