I wanted to post here this morning (I was up at 3 am) -- however, the site was down 
Anyways, I'll jsut paste what I posted on IAM here:
A few things to note:
* Something worke me up at 1 am. I do not know what, howver the kitty was outside waiting for me (the kitty doen't have a loud meow-- sometimes the kitty only mouthes to the word of Meow and doesnt say it (maybe it tries to lip sync to another kitty doing a meow )
* The kitty is doing wierd things now: Before the kitty would eat the food while it was in the plastic container I had put it in. Tonight, the kitty picks up the tuna out of the container, places it on the step, and then starts to eat it (and continues doing this while eating)
* Only after the kitty has made a point of rubbing me (and after I pet the kitty) does the kitty even think about going over to the food I bring out. You'd think that the food would be the first thing on the kitty's mind(especially since the kitty is almost like skin and bones)- however it seems getting petted is.
* Kitty is now trying to sneak instide: two times so far, the kitty slowly snuck into my apartment (and only went 3 feet), and went soo slow as if to say "Im sneaking in here- I know you will catch me, so I am not going fast."
* I picked up the kitty: I did not hold the kitty long, even though the kitty did not even flinch or anything --- not even try to scratch me.
* the kitty will purr from time to time (however, I have a feeling that it cannot do it too much -- just like it cannot meow well)
* The kitty doesn't like cat food as much as she likes tuna fish: I bought tuna in water, and the kitty lapped up the water first, then ate the tuna. But, when I gave the kitty some cat food, the kitty looked at, ate a little bit, and then pushed it with her head off the step.
*** I jsut realized that this kitty is looking for protection from the other kitties that are around. I left for a little bit, and another cat started trying to hurt this kitty. I heard this loud meow and when I opened the door, a black cat was running away -- and the little kitty is ok and looking at me - like "thanks for helping me, but what do I do the next time -- when you aren't around?"

So do you have any plans for the kitty? Perhaps finding it a home?
