This week was the start of the new semester. I am taking Computer Software Applications, and Intro to Philosophy.
Too bad that the computer course uses XP, and I have wimpy Milennium Edition
Means that I will have to do most of my schoolwork at school (which will be a pain)
Also, there is LOTS of reading for Philosophy and Computers. Philosophy had 33 pages as the assignment for this past Thursday. Needless to say, there is more to be read for the coming week. And that does not include the book on Security that is needed to be read for Monday.
Suffice to say, I have my hands full.
Top that off with a heaping scoop of having to work Friday night, and you can see that my weekend has already been spoken for (it didn't help either that last week I started this job, and so I only got a check for 3 days ).
Sadly, this means that there is a 99.99% chance I will not be able to head off to the bowling shindig this weekend.
Last semester I sort of learned my lesson .... I used to put my school stuff aside and go out, and then try to finish my school stuff in a mad dash to complete it. This time I will be trying a bit harder to complete the homework BEFORE I do anything else.
Later
ed
p.s. Maybe the next event I will be able to make: who knows... I might have the extra time and money to have one hell of a good time.

last semester I used to leave my homework go until the last minute, and then I had to take days off from work just to get it done. I almost failed my class because of that (which would ahve put my loan for college in jeapordy) This semester I cannot do that: I have to get the homework done before I even thinnk about going out.
