While trying to get homework done, I did manage to go out 2 different times: one to BW's and stop by an unexpecting Jake -- I was wearing a Chatterrer mask (from hellraiser) along with my leather jacket and vinyl pants. Needless to say, I surprised everyone at the table
Saturday, we popped up to Outback Steakhouse. Gotta love that tasty food
After that though, I had to push myself to get homework done. I am currently working on Math 99 (its one step below college algebra -- and it is one big pain in he ass becuase you have LOTs to figure out before you get the solution to a problem -- furthermore, the word problems make as much sense as having a root canal done with a spatula. (whoever walks x+4 squared is f'n nuts! )
Anyways, last night I got pissed off at the group I am working with for the group technical writing project. The teacher stated last time in class the he will print out the discussion board to see who put in the more effort. Well, with that in mind, and after the one guy said he'd be the document coordinator -- (he told me- but never mentioned it to the group) -- and I never heard any more from him. I posted a "nice" little comment in the board so that everyone in our group and the teach knows the shituation:
This is what I wrote:
"Here is the scoop folks:
Within this week I saw Steve. We discussed the Document Coordinator position, and he said he'd do it. (Both him and myself are the only ones in our team that have Word knowlege). I had e-mailed him on the 26th telling him that it would be a good idea to mention it on the forum, but so far, he hasn't. Because I have not heard any more from him, I am uncertain if he is able to do the job. So, instead of me being able to go with friends that had made plans for me for my birthday (today) (I asked for the weekend off - since we have not had one off in over a month), I am now at home doing the responsible thing and trying to do what I can to get the GPS selections organized.
Time is of the essence with this project, especialy since we have to do the individual projects too. I cannot see waiting until Nov 7th to try and get this all completed. If I would have heard from Steve either way, I'd feel more comfortable about going out and celebrating my birthday, however, with no word from him to confirm he is going to be the document coordinator, I can only guess he cannot accept the position, which means I stay at home and do my best at trying to get it all done.

On a bright side.......
Words cannot express the happiness I got when I rec'd a nift DVD from someone last night. I got as a gift the SG DVD!!!
