Sometimes something comes around and you dont know whether or not its real. In this case, I might have found an ace in the hole which might bring me up - but at a cost. The price to be paid- is time. Precious time. I have set the wheels into motion to see if that ace in the hole is really there - and if... Read More
a person quit (aka walked out) of work today. Now, not only do I get to do my usual stuff, but I get to do that stuff I was being taught by myself. Joy.
Friday's mega millions is approz 250 million-- higher than the lottery that was won in richmond indiana (which happens to be the area a bunch of us were at last weekend)... Read More
I hate it when people walk out.. or don't show up! When I worked at Noah's House, I had been there for about a year and was just put on new hours.. I was going to opening and getting off at 3.. instead of closing (which I hated) and the girl who was suppose to close..and actually my Teacher Assistant walked out! Left me alone.. with about 30 preschoolers! Meaning I woiuld have to be there from 6 to 6.. which was frustrating at first.. but it ended up being this way for the entire summer! I worked 6 to 6 5 days a week! Sure I got some help from little 18 year olds who spent more time talking on their cell phones and visiting with the other 18 year olds that was suppose to be working It was like I was watching 18 year olds and litte 3 year old kids with mental issues (one girl would go to the bathroom on the floor and play with it.. another little boy beat me up daily..it was awesome, and one was evil.. I tell he had the devil living in him..lol) It was VERY stressful..I swear I will bitch slap, or kick them in the balls if I hear someone say working at a childcare center is glorified babysitting. OK.. I got carried away.. lol. Oh and I did walk out of that job too.. but it was because I asked for REAL help for 3 months, and I worked 60 hours a week somedays with NO break!! The bosses just kept saying that couldn't get everyone there own personal assistants, and helpers yet on a daily basis there would be 3 or 4 workers standing in the hallway talking.. and visiting!! They couldn't come in.. I got so tired of them thinking that taking care of 30 kids by myself (which by the way if state would have come in..they would have gotten in BIG trouble for me being alone with that many kids) was suppose to be easy! And they couldn't understand why we didn't get crafts done, or book time done.. so I walked out.. and let them know it's not as easy as it looked. They actually called me back a few months later to help.. it seems when you work with mentally ill children they get attached.. and they wasn't coping well..I said no. I got to vent..lol
letter to landlord is typed up. photos are at store to be developed. Other things in the mix are:
Still reworking/ revising/ remembering - the story I will be writing. Seems that the more I do not write it on paper, the stronger the impression in my mind the story becomes. So far, its like watching a movei over and over again - and learing... Read More

There is an online health scan by the notebook's company. did that this time - and it indicated battery is bad. My dream job would be to work at the social security office again!! That was the best job..EVER!! I loved it so much..it was hard..and I had to learn codes, passwords, addresses, and learn the goverments intranet, and internet programs but it was so worth it!! I worked with the best people..had the nicest boss, and was doing something I loved and was good at! It was only for the summer (last summer) and ever since then.. no job has added up.. I wish they would take me back!
i may have to start looking for another part time job if i dont start getting the hours at my full time job, this week we only worked 3 days and even though its nice to have 4 days off from work it sucks to lose that extra day of pay.
i think we're gonna go see Boots and Bracelets on saturday if you wanna join us!

I think it's time to find a new job! You know you can tell CBS that you would like to be put back on the "list" and work there until they find you something else? I mean really think about.. if you do get hired on how happy are you going to be there? You will be stuck with a bunch of young punk ass kids who (what it sounds like to me) were ex-football players in high school and use to sitting back and doing shit and getting credit for it! If you are hired on.. you are stuck and on your own when it comes to finding a job.. I mean you can go back to your temp to hire places but it's not going to look good on your application that you worked some place for over 600 hours or 4 months and then quit after being hired on!
When I use to work in daycare I hated to be stuck with the high school or just out of high school assistants anyone between the ages of 18 and 22 as assistants cause it was like trying to entertain, and teach the 3 year olds and watching the teenagers at the same time.. to make sure they wasn't playing, talked on their phones (which I hated) they seemed to disappear for the bathroom at random times..and I had to go chase them down.. they always seemed to gather together no matter what!! It seems like young people think the world should just be handed to them..on a silver platter and they expect it! They expect to be able to get away with things, or not have to do things! It's sad to see the next generation come up.. cause they are the ones who'll be working to take care of us when it comes to social security!
on this side note.. I'll tell you about Brandy! Who is 16, acts like she's going on 13, and thinks she should be treated like she's 18! She goes tomorrow to take her drivers test.. and she thinks that she should get a new car and that her mom (who is single, works making only about 9.50 an hour) should pay for this new car on the faith that she'll get a job soon, or her brother fix up his old car, which has no transmission, or battery! She is expecting this, and thinks it should happen and if it don't then they don't love her! She doesn't ask.. she demands, and she doesn't seem to understand that it cost money, and that her mom or her brother does not have that money.. She also thinks that she should be allowed to go to X-Fest with a friend, and just be able to take her mom's car whenever she likes, and go where ever she feels like going! OH.. and Punkapoolza is a constant fight here because she thinks that she should just be allowed to go that her mom should trust her at a 2 overnight event amongst strangers!! Brandy can't not understand that she isn't 18, that isn't an adult..that being able to drive does NOT make her one either! She doesn't understand when she gets in trouble or doesn't get her way..that sitting down and crying, yelling, call her mom names, and putting holes in the wall isn't showing anyone she's mature it's showing them she still throws fits! It usually works cause she usually gets her way! I think that's where parents go wrong..they give their kids whatever they want just to keep peace
