I joined a gym today! Lifestyles for ladies only. Woot. It was so fun. I love the machines and the convenience and the atmosphere. The measuring of the hips and thighs? Not so fun... whatever

I was in a training class for a software program once and the instructor started instructing us on the way to use a mouse. I chuckled and asked if that was absolutely nessisary. He said yes because he once had a student that when he told them to click the mouse on a particular item there was a student that put the mouse to the screen and began clicking. She could not figure out why it wouldn't work. whatever hehehe.

The first day of school...the drama of finding something cute to wear. The chaos of walking down construction-filled roads. The excitement of teaching two classes and meeting the students for the first time.

So my birthday was great fun. Went to Carrabba's with Megg, geckotiff, doctashock, Jon, Ashley, Carolyn, and Keith. I had some wonderful raspberry martinis. They were glorious. Mark, our waiter, was very efficient at refreshing my drink! biggrin

Greetings and salutations! Im totally with you on the glad but kinda sad to know that others feel my pain. And its crazed, cause yeah I thought I was fat back in high school even though I was like 70lbs lighter than I am now. Its such a vicious cycle, bounding back and forth from being like "yea me im hot and big and society can just kiss the fattest part of my ass if they dont like it" and then feeling like total crap cause all the super cute clothes you want dont come in a 2x and the sales person looks at you like your insane for asking. mad On another note though, thank you so much for your advice on the arguing thing...thinking of the cutest thing he's said or done definately diffuses my anger. My friends right now are my significant others. They are the ones that make so happy from day to day.

lolobg: She is the most supportive person I know. If I feel down Laurazz is there to make me feel good. She has taught me a lot in the past year and I love her more than (hopefully) she knows.

gecko tiff: Tifferzz is always good for a wacky, good time. She too is always there when I need someone and even though I can't sing in her car, I will overlook that. She always makes me laugh.

Ashley: Who is not a member of SG but she is such a great friend that she should be an honorary member. When the cards are down and I need a great drinking buddy, someone who will share a pitcher and talk about the things you don't think you should talk about, Ashley is there.

There are many other people I can't go into, but if and when I find a certain someone to become a traditional significant other, I won't forget these friends. My life wouldn't be the same without them.

First time stoppin by your journal but I read the thread you wrote in PSW about the comment that was yelled at you today. And I just wanted to let you know that ive been there too. I have gotten comments yelled, lude gestures, and all kinds of words used to describe my figure that were hurtful. People can be assholes and shallow. Looking at you. I would say you are nothing less then beautiful. Whatever you do never let them get you down You are beautiful no matter what size you happen to be.
