On Friday next week I will officially own a house. It's a big deal. I am starting to freak out about money and bills and being a house owner now. I have had a really shitty day and it's all just getting a bit rubbish and on top of me and CRAP. The house, on the plus side, is awesome. I am still so in love with it, even though there are things about it that are fucking horrific. The old fashioned kitchen with the purple and green floor tiles is one of those things... But it is adorable nevertheless.
Besides, it is mine. No one else's. Mine mine mine mine MINE.
What else? Genghistron finally felt the baby kick last night which was awesome. He got excited and it was nice that he can now be part of the whole pregnancy thing. I am so fat, I need his support!
Yup, that's me. With the baby in tow. I look happy because on that day life wasn't spiralling out of control and I was just a pregnant girl with an awesome boyfriend who was buying a house. Now, it is all too real and fuck, it is seriously scary. Jesus. I am rambling a lot. Sorry.
So I am nearly 24 weeks pregnant now. Which means it is only 16 weeks until the little bugger makes an appearance. I can't wait. I had to go to hospital on Friday as I was getting super bad belly pains and I have never been more worried in my life. At that point I realised how much I love this little thing growing inside of me, madness. I got to hear the heartbeat again, and baby is fine, but no scan. And I don't get to have another one, which means we won't know the sex until August 8th when we get to meet him / her! When we had the 21 week scan baby had it's knees touching it's elbows and didn't want to show the goods! Naughty!
Oh, the names Sophie and Nate, what do you guys think?
