seriously having the week from hell.
When we went to hospital tuesday morning they said we'd have to go straight to Morriston hospital in Swansea to the special burns unit there because they would have to look at it and assess it. We got there and they dressed it (whcih was very stressful and painful for jake) and then because he had a temperature and was sleepy and not very well they said we had to stay overnight, I had sod all stuff with us and had parked on the side of the road at the top of hospital so was worried about that. I called a coupel of good friends i had in cardiff and they were great and went to get stuff from tesco for us, like pyjamas and stuff for jake, and deoderant and chocolate for me and brought it up the hospital. Then i found out we had to stay at least another night because they had to wait at least 48 hours to assess the dressing they put on jakes burn
I had no one to come and help me and jakes dad only came to see him for an hour wednesday night (but at least that meant i had clean underwear and a clean top!)
THen the next morning jake was fine, but tired because the stupid cunts on the ward treated it like a coffee shop the night before and jake couldnt get to sleep till gone ten cus they were all laughing and chatting and had lights on and a tv on. Then he was up at 5.45. He was grumpy and in need of sleep at 9.30 but we got thrown out of the ward by a stupid bossy cleaner and jake was too tired and upset to go in the playroom. He eventually fell asleep on my while i sat on a chair in a corridor. At which point i was crying because i was upset and wanted to go home. Then the paediatrician came and thought jake was ill but i was trying to explain he was in a grump as a result of ebing tired and nervous about having his bandage changed and because i was upset he went and got a fucking social worker and implied i wasnt coping on my own with jake.
All i was trying to do is explain that the nurses and other people on the ward were inconsiderate twats, jake would be better and is well enough to go home. i had pets that were gonna die. i had no clothes or anything and i hadnt eaten for days because i couldnt go and get food. Then after jakes dressing change he was fine and ate loads of lunch but we had to wait til 3 for the paediatrician to come again and agree he was fine and then took til 4.30 for them so sort out his medicine.
The hospital was dirtyand staff seemed to treat other people alot better. Am really unhappy with it.
I missed head automatica and because they took so long to sort stuff it was impossible for me to give tickets to other people so they had to miss it too.
The hamsers were still alive when i got home
got back to a letter saying my house is being valuated at 11 today so have been rushing around tidying.
Got a letter saying as a result of my car crash i can either go on a driving course or go to court so im gonig on a day and a half long course at the cost of 165
I have an exam a week today that is gonna be really hard to revise for because jake is at home with me and cant go into daycare.
I have to go back to the stupid swansea hospital every 5 days
Can i have some hugs and food please? xxx
