hello everyone
My granddad is better. Doing far better than they thought he would be. Hes now in a side ward and eating a bit and moving around. New problem is that he has MRSA which means me and jake cant go down and visit. hes quite lucky it only seems to be affecting him in the way of a chest infection. A guy in the same ward came in with the thing he had and died the same night which has made my granddad think alot and has made him vow to give up drinking, which is largely what put him in hospital in the first place.
I feel bad because I cant be there to help my mum more. I know she is stressed alot right now. Her 2 sisters came down from different parts of the country to see him and my mum feels like they are putting her down. They commented on how messy his flat was in front of people in the pub which made my mum feel like she wasnt helping enough even though she does loads for him. They also had the cheek to get a cheque off my granddad for 48 for the stuff they had to buy for him and his flat!!! I thinks thats appauling to ask their very ill father for that. My mum constantly does his washing and goes over to see him and bought him stuff for the hospital like pyjamas and has never asked for a penny. Ok. Rant over.
I handed in 3 essays on friday and am fairly happy with them. Got another essay in on friday but that will be easy to write because its a feature article for a newspaper so i can write that fairly quick.
The interview is on tuesday
Iv been preparing and think the most important thing is that i come across confident, show my ability to teach and my knowledge of the media. I think i should be ok, but if i dont get it then i shall have to find something else. I now have an added incentive as i just found out if i get on the course i can get a 6000 - 7000 training bursary from the welsh assembly!!!! that would be great and really help alot. The more i think about it, the more i want to teach. i know its what i want to do. the media is my passion and i think its the only thing i could talk about and know what im saying!

Jake is amazing. really amazing. he makes me smile sooooo much. all this week iv been gutted when hes gone to sleep cus i wanted to carry on playing! how sad is that. im taking him to the musium tomorrow to see dinosaurs i want to make every day of his life happy and fun and help him learn and see more of the world.
Been to the gym 4 times this week. Started adjusting my diet too. Not expecting to see results overnight but im sure in a little while il see a difference.
