Time for a goodbye blog, but only for 2 weeks while im in the shire for christmas. am leaving tomorrow afternoon to the land of pigeons sending messages and and lack of internet

am going to see skindred play friday which should be awesome
Nearly finished one of the essays i have to do over xmas. im not too paniced about them because i think i know what im doing for each of them. its my interview im worried about! it involves a 5 minute presentation on 'what do you think would make a good teacher in post compulsary education' and then i have to critique my presentation then have a 15 minute panel interview which iv been given a list of questions to prepare for.
tis all very scary! The course im going for would lead me to my ideal job. id love to teach media studies to post 16 year olds. its hwat i feel i know about and enthusiastic about. really dont know what il do if i dont get it
havent done that much christmas shopping. everyone knows im skint and plus my family arent too concerned about presents. i just wanna have some fun with my family and jake.
Jake is amazing right now. no one has ever made me smile or laugh this much. hes saying words, hes running round, he loves to read books, he loves to play with cars and trains, he loves it when i pretend to be different animals and chase him round the house. hes made loads of christmas decorations in his daycare which are now all over the house

I hope you enjoyed Skindred. I saw them with Mark_plus_Beer a few months ago and at Download. They are a great band. I remember seeing Dub War (Benji's previous band) years ago at TJ's supporting Therapy? I think he's a great front man, and of course he's Welsh, which makes it even better.
Good luck with the essays and the interview. I'm sure you'll get it so need to think about an alternative.
It sounds like you are going to have a great Christmas with Jake. Having kids around really makes it extra special.
It's great news about your new bloke. I hope it's turns out to be as special as those 4 days. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. I like seeing people happy. It makes me happy. Apart from maybe tonight at midnight when I won't have anyone to kiss
