It's complicated, but it didn't make much sense since I knew what she wanted in our anticipated roleplay and was sure I could give it to her.

Cover them with makeup. I saw a documentary once about tattoos in Japan...they spoke to a school principal who had his whole body covered in ink. He spent the better part of every morning covering them up, but no one ever hassled him.

No sense worrying about something you have no control of referring to the tattoos.
