I totally understand why you're not pleased with your mom's response. There's much more to you than having a man in your life.

I'm thinking that her attitude wasn't all that much of a surprise to you. Just nod at her while knowing at the same time that you're an intelligent, and vibrant woman who is a beautiful and fulfilled person with or without a man in your life.

While it's true that there are some good things happening in my life, I tend to think too much about the negative stuff. I think I should teke more of the advice I've been giving you. I'm sure I'd be better off if I did that.
