I have been hit by a whirlwind of happy. I'm so happy right now I'm a little frightened. What's making me happy is this:
It seemed like a really bad idea at first. He's one of the junior instructors at the dojang, lots of the other women have crushes on him, and my ex is at the same dojang and still a little possessive in a quiet but extremely noticeable way, so there's lots of potential for awkwardness.
But he has apparently been interested in me, and I have been oblivious, since last summer. In some ways it's the usual: we can talk for hours, we can do anything together and have fun, we've been through some similar things in life. But there's just a passion there that I haven't felt in a long time. Sure, I loved my ex, but it was different. And this guy is so, so sweet to me, and so understanding.
I'm smitten.

My goodness, it amazes me how our lives have paralleled each other since we began communicating.. You're obviously in a good place now. I can't tell you how happy that makes me.
