I wrote this for a competition on a video game website. The game is Star Citizen if you follow those kinds of things, the game is still in development, but many of us followers have found we have a bit of an addiction to buying ships for this in production game. A video blogger was looking for entries to read for her videos about said...

I can't sleep and for whatever reason "All Along the Watchtower" has been stuck in my head and I decided to to do a little research. I came across this critique of it,

"That whole artistic mystique is one of the great traps of this business, because down that road lies unintelligibility. Dylan has a lot to answer for there, because after a while he...

Nope, never saw it. And yes, it probably wasn't Dylan's objective. But I can imagine how incredible it must be for an artist to pump out any experimental work and have it suddenly hailed as the dawn of a new age, or some equally heavy-handed grandiose claim.
lokiscoyote:
Oh on that account I agree. I think anyone who creates wants to have their creations recognized, everyone I think wants to be seen as clever and brilliant. Creating is such a personal thing, that once you let it out into the public you want praise, or at least I find that's what I want. And with that I think I'll post some of my writing :p

I'm going to the Leafs game here in Dallas tonight. I hope they can extend their winning streak and make it seven straight. Maybe Phil will get a hat trick to round out the evening for me.

Hope you all have a good night.

Enjoy. Don't get hit by a hockey puck.

Well I did have fun despite the Leafs getting a solid thrashing.

Things have been rough the last month or so, between the anniversary of my father's passing, turning 35, my parents anniversary, and the holidays it feels like it's been constant where there has been something going on. Amid all of this I haven't been sleeping, which spiraled into my not exercising or eating right with the holidays. So I currently feel like crap. I feel...

I know how you feel bro.  I deal with some pretty bad insomnia myself.  Just check out my blogs...I talk about it quite a bit in there.  In fact...right now...I'm going on 48 hours of no sleep...and on top of that...I got tattooed on my ribs today.  I am ZONED out right about now.  Definitely don't feel like myself...Just kinda going through the motions right now.  As far as the holidays go...I don't celebrate Christmas...but I had a good time with family nonetheless.  I hope you're able to get your sleep problem figured out!  I know problems with sleep is no fun!  If you ever need to talk to someone...give me a shout.  I'll listen.  Peace, bro!  :)

Thanks a lot!

It's the third anniversary of my father's passing. It seems like every time Nov. 21 rolls around, I'm saying goodbye to him anew. I miss him, I always will and I think I've come to terms with that, but I still hurt, my mom still hurts so very much and I can't seem to help her.

Take sometime today and love those you are close...

Today on the way to the hospital to visit my grandmother, we were rear ended. We are ok and that is good, but my mom's car is pretty damaged. I feel beaten in all honesty, I would just for once like to catch a break.

I took this picture earlier as I made a mock up of the tattoo I had hoped to get in...

@kissedbyfire Pressing tab should save the image to the same folder as the translator, if it doesn't I've had to take screenshots using the "print screen" key and pasted these into a program like MS paint and edited them that way. Let me know if this helps.

Got it! Thanks so much!!!

Are we meant to live for the happiness of others or our own happiness? I've been wrestling with this question for a very long time. Of course the simple answer is - both. We are meant to find balance, but balance is never simple, the impulses to be selfish or selfless can both be very attractive and often one wins out over the other. So...

Wow!  That's a tough one.  It's so hard for someone to say they'd do one thing over the other...but until they are actually in that situation...it's really hard to say.  One has to REALLY know themselves well.  And I believe so many people today...do not know themselves that well.  I wish I had some advice to give...but I don't.  I can see both ends of the spectrum you are talking about.  It's going to be a tough decision!  Props to you for doing all that you've done for your family so far...it's very admirable.  I'll send some positive energy your way.  Best of luck to you with the future decision you are faced with!
adelina:
It's a personal decision. I refer you to either Jeremy Bentham, or J.S. Mill if you want the full scoop on the value of  maximizing happiness for the most # of ppl. Hehe. Whichever choice you make, don't second-guess yourself, or let others second-guess you.

We had to take my grandmother to the hospital yesterday. She hasn't been feeling well, but yesterday afternoon she blacked out twice. We still do not know what is wrong with her. While I don't like to see her in pain or suffering, I do not have a lot of sympathy for her. She told me shortly after my father died, that he wasn't a...

@adelina On that point I am sure you are correct, I imagine she has a great deal of resentment for a variety of reasons, one of which being that she has become dependent on our family.

So we are having a joint birthday part for myself and a few other friends with November birthdays. One of the friends was at the Halloween costume party and she wants to have another costume party, so we let her pick the theme... yes it's "Scottish kitty robot pirates from outer space". That's a mouthful and a bit mind boggling to be honest.

Surprisingly all...

Perhaps if you knew that Jesus helped him with the assignment, you would know to not grade him badly on it because it is divinely inspired.

Thank you! I hope some changes will take place in MR and the set will go up before Christmas still!

So I decided to do Movember. Here is my Movember page HTTP://MOBRO.CO/NATHANIELGOODWIN (if you can donate a little that'd be great, but not necessary). I just wanted to do something, this month that was different. Given that my dad died of cancer on Nov. 21 I thought this would be a good thing to do.

Though I'm not loving my newly bald and totally baby...
