so i decided to skip work today and called in sick....just having worked a 12 hr shift yesterday and having to work a 10 hr shift tomorrow, i wasn't really looking forward to an 11 hr shift today....so i didn't go...if they say something tomorrow i'll be like "oh one of the kids must have given me like a 24 hr bug or something".....what i say is if my boss wants to fuck me over, i'll fuck him over anyway i can.....
and today i found out that sometime in the near future the cops are going to come take pictures of our bathroom because he completely screwed everything up and didn't even finish the job, then refused to return the money my mom had paid him and then she found out that not only was he not insured, he didn't even have a license......so she called the cops and he's going to get arrested and what not.....so the cops have to come and take pictures of all the stuff he fucked up....so that means that my sister and i had to clean the whole house....everything except our rooms, thank god because i'd still be doing that....as it was i had to clean the stairs, our bathroom and the upstairs living room (which is really a converted bedroom) and hide all evidence of weed too.....that took like 4 hrs.....i also stopped to have smoke breaks and an apple break and a chat break with my sister....
but it was a pretty good day....it definately beat standing in the hot sun all day dealing with obnoxious fucking kids that suck.....and their parents.....and my bosses.....
also: Secondhand Lions is actually a pretty good movie.....the concept is so corny that the director knew if he took it seriously it would bite majorly so the whole movie is quietly mocking itself in a way that children would take it for face value and love it for an adventure...but the whole movie makes fun of itself by being over the top and obvious in it's corniness and the whole thing is pulled off very well....so if you're just bored one night, seriously check it out....
and: check out Sleater-Kinney....they are an all girl rock band that reminds me of early Janis Joplin....they're pretty good and i plan on picking up a cd myself.....
final thought: i gave him my blood and he gave me what i thought was food, but it was really drugs....and then when i was left without and begged him he gave me nothing but the empty promise of a score....but now i'm clean and i don't know if i can fall for his drugs again.....no matter how badly i want to.....
