so, i know lots of people work nights. i like working nights. i've been doing it for a month or so now, and i like getting off work and everything being quiet. i've lost a little sleep but i've seen some truly spectacular midnight sun sets. all the bars and liquor stores are closed so i have to plan ahead if i want some sipping bourbon at 2 or 3 in the morning but that's fine. the best part is i'm home for 3 or 4 hours in the morning with my daughter, and i get to make her breakfast, and get her ready for school/summer camp, and then take a nap.
but today, which is actually yesterday now, and tomorrow which is truly today at this point we had to switch back over to days. so, i was exhausted when i was at work, and when i got home i woke up again, and didn't feel at all like sleeping. a responsible person would have swallowed something that paved the way for sleep but not me.
i went to a late showing of the last harry potter movie.
so, tomorrow or today rather is going to be a long day. or maybe it already has been i'm not sure anymore.
