so, after spending over a week enjoying a wonderful chest cold, with feever i thought it would be fun to take 2 days off, feeling healthy, and then launch into the stomach flu.

i feel better today. but wow. i feel lilke i've been sick forever.puke

what kind of man am i?

i'm the kind of man who when he's not working, walks 2 miles in the snow to the store for vanilla extract. then walks back, cleans out the garage, and then using 1 tsp of the vanilla makes some bad ass F'n cookies for his daughter. (timing it so that they are still warm when she gets home.)

i've come to the conclusion that sleep is the only thing that helps me feel any better.

so, in the spirit of sleep, and my wifes advice i'm having a hot toddy, and going to sleep. being sick sucks.

i've been sick, and that is no good for my dog. he doesn't get walked like he wants once or twice a day. so, after the 4 hour nap i took today i woke up feeling better, and took him out for short trip around the neighbor hood.

i'm not really worried about them. my dogs tags do pretty much the same thing. i would just like one or two runs that don't get interupted or end in a change of direction. most of the moose in my neighbor hood are pretty familar with us so it's more of an inconvience than a worry. but that would be funny to wake people up with the sound of slay bells...

i would hear sleigh bells, empty pop cans with marbles in them, well....plenty of weird sounds just about any time a runner went by my condo, or anytime i was at the park. my boyfriend at the time would take me to his mom's house and their dog had a special, noise making collar. his mom was once saved from a momma bear thanks to their dog sounding like a reindeer LOL
