there are a lot of dogs in alaska. i mean really what a great place to be a dog. my dog was a puppy in portand, oregon, and i moved him up here when he was about a year, and a half old. there is always a dog barking somewhere, and when my dog goes outside it's usually him.

new years eve,

i'm on my 3rd glass of really good, pre-dinner, red wine. my mind feels loose, like my tie, and i'm using this space to confess my happiness. for reasons completely un SG, i am both stronger, and more humble than i've ever been. there is a balance in my life that is beautiful, and completely foreign.

i love it here... i think.

on friday it was so cold i had to chew my water.

in case anyone is curious it takes a hot cup of coffee 11 minutes to go from good, to slush, at 10 below zero.

i'm eating olives, avocadoes, and goat cheese. i'm not wearing socks but, yesterday it waa 6 degrees, below zero.

tonight, at work, i made goooood food, for people, who drink fine beers.

and today, i helped build the second floor of a 600,000$ house. {it was only 4 degrees below zero.. my coffee froze before i could finish it.}
