so, yeah, i write stuff..



she says she is taken
so
it would be wrong
for me
to do anything more
than write for her

but

i want to be
the black light
in her eyes
or maybe
the one dollar bill
she decides to save
for a sunny day
when work is slow

i am not
the chasing kind
so no one
has any reason
to run
but i thought she should know
i love the way she walks
and i
could watch eye lid movies
featuring her face
until my alarm clock
pushes pause
and me out of bed
