my dog rocks. when i lived in portland, i was walking through mount taber park, with my friend marsella. we watched a woman walk by with two golden retrievers, and i said out loud,"i wish i had a dog"
5 seconds later a 6 week old rotwieler puppy ran up to me, and barked. long story short, i payed a man 20 dollars, and took home the best dog ever. sort of...
anyway, there are few choices in life that a human being can make that will teach that person about themself like raising, and training a dog. you get to see so much of your own strengths, and weaknesses reftlected in a dogs personality. it's an amazing learning experience.
the whole point of this entry is, i'm very thankful my dog found me when he did. if i had not taken him home that day in the park, i wouldn't be the person, i am today.
oh, and i like cats, but i've never learned a damn thing from a cat. besides like george carlin said, cat's just aren't as much fun. they have less facial expressions. dogs have eyebrows, cats just have shit sticking out of there forheads.
