This past weekend was so desperately needed, I didn't even realize until I got there. I apologize to all the people I have been disappointing lately, I was like another person, a grumpy antisocial hermit. But wow do I feel better now, I feel more like myself again and I think I made a new friend! *does happy dance*
Saturday was a glorious day and I spent a good chunk of it sitting in the sun with two very cool stoner girls getting drunk and high and reading. We had bbq when the guys finally got back from shopping for food and it was very very very tasty. Made a huge bonfire that lit really well and stayed going with little effort until we were all too high and drunk to watch it anymore. Sunday was rather chilly but it warmed up alright and I managed to get some sun. We had another bonfire that took a little longer to get going well but lasted even better and burned much hotter than the last one.
I spent a good half an hour staring into the heart of the fire at the coals - they looked amazing! Its been so long since I really got to watch a fire burn. The coals were purple and gold and parts kept popping up and down and changing hue, it was almost like the way shroom visuals make texture pop out at you more - everything was so bright and pronounced.
Monday was pretty nice in the morning and we got home by 4. Turgi was very happy to see us and I think she was relieved this morning when I left for work, everything is back to normal the way she likes it. She might be less impressed when Sortex comes home tonight but I think she will adjust just fine.
I am so excited to go get Sortex I want to leave work now! but I cannot and I must try not to think about it too much! But there will be many pictures, don't you worry! Lotsa pics of my two black and white kitties!!
