ok, so the date went ok, except for the fact that the girl is possibly the most perfectly nice and good person I have ever met, I really don't think we will connect well... but I'll call her anyway, no reason not to be friendly.
on another note, the girl who I'm currently hung up on The Teacher (she's a 4th grade teacher) that we have a really weird thing going on, where she won't date me because I'm military, and she has a military ex boyfriend in Iraq, and they're going to try and give it a go when he gets back in a month. Anyway, we went on a date, and I always see her in the bars, so we've kind of become friends, but I was really mean to her the other day... well, after lots of apologizing, we're talking again, and she hooked me up with a 20% off coupon for linens&things, so now I have a really cool comforter. Now I just need a girl to get in my bed so she can say to herself "wow, what a nice comforter"... so I will work on that one tonight!!

Even if you didn't connect on the first date, that doesn't mean that you never will. Chemistry is not always instant. Some of my friends have been some of my best boyfriends, and some not. So yeah, definately I would keep it friendly, you never know what could happen.
