Holy turn of events Batman! So I went to the set yesterday expecting to be just an infantryman to be killed of quite quickly. But instead, about an hour after I arrived, the director came up to me and asked if I could act.... I guess one of the leads had to cancel at the last minute and there wasn't really anyone else. Or it's because the director has worked with me before... Anyway, I suddenly became one of the lead actors, alongside three others. We were escapees from a slave camp in a post apocalyptic world being pursued by about twenty soldiery types. so four vs twenty... They didn't know what they were getting themselves in to.
I had so much fun. Even though the wet snow soaked through my shoes and drenched my socks. The pain eventually went away with all feeling. But I think it was totally worth it. I got in to some pretty sweet fights. My sword is all dinged up in the most bad ass way now. However, I had intended to use two at the same time(because that's how I role ). But I swung one of them at a rather thin branch on a dead tree to clear a bit of a path. Quite an unyielding branch. The damn thing broke my sword! But I didn't get bent out of shape, I was just glad I had a second left to use.
As I expected, there weren't any pictures being taken by anyone now, since I was now one of the main characters, and I didn't have much time to take any myself. But I found the time. And someone offered to take a picture of me. It was with my camera, but oh well. Haha!
So, here are a few pictures I took for the short film Bloody Solstice.
Got a little arterial spray from one of my kills.
