Slight slender and subtle
breeze edges the outside
like a clay mask
clinging shape
to make
its mark.

A night
open and breathing
like a birth

Dry leaves
leave
acoustic echoes
from the breeze

They rattle and rustle

They clutter

of remembrance

The screen door slam
The hollow harrow
Of your sob
Sings

Screaming sobs
they were like
strangling a child
chilling as
this breeze
