Yes, yes, I've been MIA. For no good reason other than I just haven't bothered coming on the site. One thing I did notice is half my friends list went grey so I have pared that down immensely. All in efforts to be more social, it's time for me to start branching out again and bulk up the ranks. Not that the people on my list aren't great or anything 
I'm two short of "picture display" mode on the list, and that's a bit pathetic considering I've been on this site in various bursts of participation for two years.
So Portland is great. Job is going well for the most part, and this city is just the setting I needed. The apartment is great too, although due to circumstances beyond my control, I still don't have much of a living room yet (planning around a sofa that hasn't been delivered yet, long boring story.) I think I found my CD storage solution though, hopefully in a few days that will be sized up.
Took a ride up to Camden/Rockland yesterday just to check it out, to kill time and for professional reasons too, since a small portion of my work involves that area. Maine is a beautiful state. Well, except for Lewiston
Still deciding how I feel about the new Beck album. Maybe I should listen to it more than once. All my CD's sound better now that I got one of those Bose Wave doohickies. I wonder if Paul Harvey's still doing ads for them. I wonder if Paul Harvey is still alive, really. I'll ponder that while I put in some Soft Machine

it's funny, but i chose my username because of an almost life-long family nickname. then i go to the Atlanta zoo, and find that their panda department(?) is named Pandamonium! i bought a pair of shorts with that word on the ass.
