So it was back to a brief stint of early wakeups this morning as I'm filling in mornings. This amazing hotel that doesn't even have an ice machine also doesn't bother to plow their driveway until sunrise apparently. But for those of us who have the luxury of four-wheel drive, that's never a problem. Heh. Five minutes of being stuck on a ledge of snow from where they DID plow was great fun. Dig out, back, forth, more gas, less gas, the smell of burning rubber, all at about 3:40 am as the wind whipped!
Fortunately tonight is my last night here. Tomorrow my bed gets delivered to the new apartment
My sofa is still a couple weeks away so I may be living bean-bag style in the living room. I think I'll go over and finally open the place up and get some rugs and such. At some point I'll post pics, this is a nice looking place... not that big square-footagewise but not a dump like the old apartment.
Off to the furniture stores!
