Well, all my clothes (the ones I brought with me) are in the washing machine, and after that's taken care of, it's pop-into-work-for-half-an-hour and then back to New Hampshire, one last time. Gotta clean out the old apartment, take the remaining few items, drop my apartment keys off at the landlords, and say good-bye to the Upper Valley, thus officially closing a nearly six-year chapter of my life.

By this time next week I should be in an apartment here in Portland. Just waiting for my landlord-to-be to get back from vacation and take care of a few more things. My father decided to the Da Man and is buying me a new bed as a belated b-day present. I've got a barely-used (just a few years old) sofa coming at me from my grandparents in a couple of weeks, too. It's all coming together.

Only problem is my CD collection. This will require some new storage strategy. I don't have the convenient recessed wall I had in the old place, which made CD storage VERY easy. In the meantime, anyone want some plastic Case Logic 90-CD racks?

(Oh, and Tim Hortons is average. Not the second coming of Christ for coffee and donuts, but not bad either. Slightly less dopey looking than a Dunkin Donuts.)
