Win number one for the Bosox moments ago. Things like that make WithoutTheFezOn happy. So does speaking in the third person, apparently.

Anyone ever notice Curt Schilling looks like Dave Coulier, sans mullet? I honestly don't care if he looks like Mike Wallace's ass, if he can get the win, I'm all for it.

The program director of our sister oldies station asked me if I was interested in doing a couple of fill-in airshifts at his station, which incidentally is within walking distance of my apartment, unlike the classic rock station I work for which is 23 miles from my doorstep. My program director felt walked on by the other PD and quickly put the kibosh on that. I've got enough going on anyway but I wouldn't mind the chance to work in other formats. Guess that's not happening. Oh well, I'll have forgotten about it by tomorrow.

Gotta love feeling wanted by everyone, when you're just a part-timer. Gotta hate the joke of a paycheck.

The more I see/hear commercials in this new "I'm Lovin It" McDonalds campaign, the more retarded I feel.

Y'know, I'm not too crazy about this George W. Bush fellow.

This entry is turning into one of those "I'm mailing it in this week" newspaper columns.

My debut as a minor league baseball public address announcer is a week from tomorrrow. I've got the butterflies already. Wish me luck bok

(4/7 Update!!!)

Above-mentioned program director just got fired this morning. The one that "put the kibosh." He was a buddy but I guess upper management felt it was time for a change. Guess I've got more fill-in work to do the next couple of weeks...
