Another week wraps up and what a warm week it was. I squeezed in some bona fide spring skiing at Okemo VT, resplendent in just my usual Hot Chillys layer and fleece vest. And sunburn. I seem to get more sunburns in March skiing than I do anytime in summer doing anything outdoors. I don't consider myself much of a mogul skier but with soft spring snow, most anyone can handle them. That's why they call it ego snow.

My Bob Welch interview went well, I'll air it a week from Sunday. He was a real down-to-earth guy and was particularly impressed that some 27 year old would know so much about his music. He seems to feel that all the ex-Fleetwood Mac members will all get together "someday" and jam. If Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan were all involved I'd sell one of my testicles to see it. Okay, maybe i'd just rent one out for a week.

I work far too much. Fortunately I got a weekend off in a couple of weeks where I can go back down to Worcester and Gardner and visit family. And maybe schmooze with some radio contacts of mine in Worcester too. I continue to perform shittily in family visits. (Shittily is now officially a word, I've decided.)

I get Opening Day honors in my public address gig for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats! That rocked my world when I got that news. Apparently what they're going to do is let the fans decide which of the five PA announcers they like best at the end of the season, and that person will get the Official Title next season.

First thing I'm going to buy if I ever happen upon some windfall of money: A Mellotron.

Second: Probably some beer. ooo aaa
