So we're back into a mini cold snap here at the West Lebanon office. It's currently 2 degrees or some such temperature and I think maybe I'll goof off, drink beer and watch movies all day. I haven't done that in ages.

So I wonder what my last five CD purchases say about me... they are the following:

Marshall Tucker Band "A New Life"
Outkast "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below"
Norah Jones "Feels Like Home"
Miles Davis "Quiet Nights"
Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come "Galctic Zoo Dossier" (note: NOT the hair band Kingdom come.)

Thursday I am going to throw my hat into the ring for the PA announcer gig for New Hampshire's new Double-A baseball team, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate). They're holding open auditions in Manchester Thursday evening. Apparently there are three rounds, two of which require me to read scripts, and the third in which I will have to write some creative copy and read it. I'm not banking on anything, and if I don't get it I won't be like these wussies on American Idol who break down in tears when Simon does them a favor and shuts them up before they do anymore damage on our aural systems. It would be something cool to do for a couple of summers and a story to tell down the road, I'm sure.

Oh, fuck the Yankees and fuck A-Rod biggrin

That OutKast CD is amazing... got it for xmas, can't stop listening to it... best song is #2 on speakerboxx, "Ghetto Music" I just fucking rock out to that song in my car. I'll be listening to that this summer while driving to yankee stadium to watch Jeter and A-Rod kick the CRAP outta everybody else. GOD it's good to be a yankees fan.

WHOSE CURSE IS WORSE, BABY!
